Two words. Cheese. Enchiladas.
I’m gonna be honest there is not much I can say about this place other than they have the best cheese enchiladas in San Marcos. I love them. They make me happy. They make me fat. They make me raise the roof when they come to the table. LOVE.
If you go on Wednesday during lunch you can get two cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, and sweet tea for under 6 doll-hairs.

The Patty Wagon

Badass. In a parking lot filled with food trailers lies a big greasy gem called The patty Wagon. Although it is the sketchiest looking one on the lot the menu is what drove me to walk up and stay. The burger selection was large, yet I couldn’t take my eyes of “The Bobcat Burger”. A burger topped with cheese, chili, more cheese and french fries. The fries being inside the burger helped me to alleviate the extra step of putting down the burger and dipping in ketchup. Messy. Sexy. Delicious.
Dessert consisted of fried Oreos. Oreos covered in funnel cake batter and deep fried and served with fresh whipped cream and even complete with a cherry on top. Badassery at it’s finest.
As a Texas native i know a lot about great food. I am here to help my fellow Texans discover awesome places to eat locally. I am not a food critic, i know nothing about formal dining, yet I feel like i can give you the most honest opinions on all my favorite (and not so favorite) places to eat around San Marcos. Enjoy!
